Federal PLUS Loan Application Tips
Before applying for a Federal PLUS Loan, you must be prepared to enter a loan amount on the application.
Consult with your student’s financial aid counselor or calculate your student’s expected costs for the school year using our Cost Estimator to determine the PLUS loan amount you may need.
During the application process, please do not select the maximum or unknown amount options. These choices will delay the processing of your application.
- After you have determined the amount you need, you may apply online at .
- Log In with your username and password.*
- Under Loans and Grants in the toolbar, select PLUS Loans: Grad PLUS and Parent PLUS.
- Click the Learn More button in the I am a Parent of a 91自拍udent section.
- Read the instructions and click the 91自拍art button to begin the application.
